Botox Cost in Scottsdale
Botox in Scottsdale typically costs $12 to $18 per unit, so your final price depends on how many units your treatment requires.
For women treating the forehead and frown lines together, one of the most common Botox treatments, local per-unit pricing typically works out to about $360 to $675.
At Avinity Health in Scottsdale, new patients pay $399 for that treatment on their first visit, with unlimited units and a free two-week refinement visit included. After that, the same forehead and frown-line treatment is a fixed $523 for women and $574 for men, also with unlimited units and a free two-week refinement visit.

Based on rates advertised by Scottsdale-area med spas as of September 2026. Published rates seen include $12.25 per unit, a $12 to $14 range, and $8.50 to $15 where the low end is promotional. Unit ranges are Botox units, taken from the dosing chart further down this page.
One line item the table leaves out: if your result needs adjusting at two weeks, a per-unit clinic charges for it. That is usually 5 to 10 more units, so $50 to $180, sometimes with a visit fee on top. At Avinity the refinement visit is part of the price. It is not folded into the arithmetic above, because how often it is needed is not something this page can honestly claim.
Where paying per unit wins
If you need a light dose on one small area and you find a clinic at the bottom of the market, per unit costs less. A 10-unit forehead at a $10 clinic is $100, against our $224. That is a real saving, and it is the honest case for the other model.
Where a set price wins
The wider the treatment, the further a per-unit total can travel. A full upper face treatment runs $450 to $1,107 for women depending on dose and clinic, on a number you cannot know before you commit to it. Ours is $649, whatever your dose turns out to be.
What we are actually offering
Avinity is not the cheapest injector in Scottsdale, and you should be suspicious of this page if it claimed otherwise. Clinics run promotions, first-time offers and membership rates that fall below the bottom of that range, and buying Botox that way is perfectly reasonable. What we offer instead is certainty: a price you know before you start, every unit the result needs, and the refinement visit included. Every other clinic has given you a rate. None of them has given you a price.

What Is Included in the Price
The two-week refinement visit is part of the price, not a second bill
Every price on this page includes your consultation, unlimited units within the area, and a complimentary two-week refinement visit. Consultations are complimentary, with no commitment.
At a per-unit clinic, a two-week touch-up is usually billed the way the first visit was: by the unit. If your forehead needs a few more units to finish the job, that is another line item at $10 to $18 each, sometimes with a separate visit fee on top. Your all-in cost isn’t known until that second invoice arrives.
At Avinity, every neurotoxin treatment includes a complimentary refinement visit at approximately two weeks. By then the product has taken full effect and your injector can evaluate the actual result, not just the dose placed on treatment day. If an area needs additional product to reach the intended result, it is added when clinically appropriate at no additional cost. That is what "unlimited units within an area" means in practice: the flat price covers the dose it takes to get there, whether that happens on day one or at week two.
The visit is also your chance to review the result, ask questions, and confirm you are happy with the treatment.
Understanding Botox pricing
Why Botox Quotes Vary Between Scottsdale Clinics
Scottsdale clinics quote a rate per unit. That rate is not a price. Your price is the rate multiplied by how many units your face turns out to need, and nobody can tell you that number over the phone, at a consultation, or before the treatment is finished.
Why the total is hard to predict

The total cost of Botox is hard to predict because a per-unit price does not tell you how many units your treatment will require. Most Scottsdale clinics quote $10 to $18 per unit. That number feels like an answer, but it is only a rate. The unit count is decided at your appointment, so the total stays unknown until you are in the chair.
The math behind the uncertainty
A full upper face treatment, meaning frown lines, forehead, and crow's feet together, typically uses 45 to 61.5 units for women and 55 to 67.5 for men. Run that dose across the range Scottsdale actually quotes and the same treatment at the same clinic comes to $450 to $1,107 for women and $550 to $1,215 for men. There is no single number in the middle of that worth quoting, because the market does not have one.
We call that gap unit anxiety: the difference between the price in the ad and the price on your invoice.
The quieter problem: underdosing
Unit anxiety has a clinical cost, not only a financial one. When the meter is running by the unit, patients make dosing decisions with their budget instead of their anatomy. A forehead that needs 17 units gets 10. Crow's feet get skipped to keep the total down. The result softens for a few weeks, fades early, and the patient concludes that Botox does not work on them, when what actually happened is that they bought two thirds of a treatment.
This is the strongest argument for pricing by area. When the price covers the area rather than the product, the injector doses to the outcome. Every Avinity area price includes unlimited units within that area, so if your frown lines need the top of the typical range, the price does not move.
Why quotes vary from clinic to clinic
Ask three clinics for a per-unit Botox quote and you may get three different rates. Even then, the lowest rate may not produce the lowest total. The final cost depends on:
- The treatment areas you choose
- Your facial anatomy and muscle strength
- Your treatment goals and the recommended dose
- The neurotoxin product used, since units cannot be compared directly across brands
Published dosing ranges vary considerably too. Forehead treatment alone may use approximately 10 to 17.5 units of Botox in women, and men often require more because their facial muscles tend to be stronger.
How flat pricing closes the gap
A per-unit quote tells you the rate, but not the final treatment price. Avinity's flat, area-based pricing closes that gap by confirming the cost of each treatment area before treatment begins.
Upper Face Rejuvenation is $649 for women and $699 for men. That price includes every unit the treatment plan calls for, plus a complimentary refinement visit at two weeks. The number you see here is the number you pay.
Significant weight loss, including weight loss associated with GLP-1 medications, can also change how facial lines appear. As facial volume decreases, forehead lines and crow's feet may become more noticeable, which can affect the areas or treatments recommended. See our guide to Botox after GLP-1 weight loss.

What a low per-unit price can hide

A per-unit price is only part of the bill. Before you compare clinics on that number alone, ask what the all-in cost is, because some of the lowest advertised rates only apply after fees that never show up in the headline:
- Membership and joining fees. Some clinics show a low "member" rate that requires a one-time join fee plus a recurring monthly charge. The real first-year cost can exceed a straightforward per-unit clinic, and rejoining after you cancel can trigger the join fee again.
- Member vs. non-member pricing. The advertised price is often the member rate; walk-in pricing is meaningfully higher.
- Unit minimums. A low rate may only apply above a minimum unit count, nudging you toward more product than you need.
- Consultation or injector fees charged separately from the product.
- Product scale. Brands like Dysport and Daxxify use more units per treatment, so a low per-unit number does not mean a low total.
Avinity prices by treatment area: one flat price, unlimited units within the area, no join fees or unit minimums hiding behind the number, and a complimentary two-week refinement visit included. The number you see is the number you pay.
The area where all of this bites hardest is the masseter, which takes roughly three times the units a forehead does, so a low headline rate has three times as much room to work with. See the masseter worked through end to end.
What flat area pricing gives up
Both pricing models give you something real to worry about. Here is each concern and where we stand on it.
- A flat-rate clinic can quietly use the cheapest brand. We treat with Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau. Which one you get is decided between you and your injector, based on what suits your face and your goals, and if you want a specific brand, we use it.
- A per-unit clinic has a reason to go light on the product. Fewer units means a smaller invoice, and you can leave with lines that never softened. We dose what your injector judges your face needs, and your complimentary refinement visit at two weeks is where we check the result. If you do not feel we used enough, we add more at that visit, at no additional cost.

Common questions
Botox Cost in Scottsdale: Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Botox cost in Scottsdale?
Most Scottsdale clinics sell Botox by the unit, at $10 to $18 per unit, so the total depends on how many units your face needs. For frown lines and forehead together, that works out to $300 to $675 for a woman at per-unit clinics. At Avinity Health the same treatment is one fixed price: $523 for women and $574 for men, with the two-week refinement visit included.
How much is forehead Botox in Scottsdale?
At Scottsdale per-unit clinics, forehead Botox typically runs $100 to $315 for women and $150 to $405 for men, depending on dose and clinic. At Avinity, forehead lines are one fixed price: $224 for women and $275 for men. The price does not change with your dose.
How much is Botox for frown lines (11s) in Scottsdale?
At Scottsdale per-unit clinics, frown lines typically run $200 to $360, depending on the clinic. At Avinity, frown lines are one fixed price for women and men: $299. New patients can choose frown lines as a first area for $179.
How much does Botox for crow's feet cost?
At Scottsdale per-unit clinics, crow's feet typically run $150 to $432 for women and $200 to $450 for men, depending on dose and clinic. At Avinity, crow's feet are one fixed price: $289 for women and $329 for men. New patients can choose crow's feet as a first area for $179.
Are there Botox specials for new patients in Scottsdale?
Yes. Avinity's current new patient offers are: frown lines or crow’s feet for $179; frown lines and forehead for $399; frown lines, forehead and crow’s feet for $549. Each applies to your first visit as a new patient, and includes unlimited units within the area and the two-week refinement visit.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. Consultations at Avinity are complimentary, with no commitment, and typically take 15 to 20 minutes. Every treatment price on this page also includes your consultation.
Does the price include a touch-up?
Yes. Every neurotoxin treatment at Avinity includes a complimentary refinement visit at two weeks, once the product has taken full effect. If an area needs more product to reach the intended result, it is added when clinically appropriate at no additional cost.
Why does Botox cost more for men in some areas?
Men's facial muscles are generally stronger and need more Botox, so some areas are priced higher for men. Forehead lines, for example, are $224 for women and $275 for men, while frown lines are $299 for both. The Women and Men toggle on the price list shows the full price for every area.
Do you cap the number of units within an area?
No. Each area price includes whatever dose the treatment plan calls for within that area. Typical ranges are published in the dosing chart on this page, and stronger muscles that need the higher end of the range pay the same flat price as anyone else. What the flat price does not cover is a different area: treating the forehead does not include the crow’s feet, which is exactly why each area is defined and priced on the menu above.
Is there a membership or a way to spread the cost?
Yes. The Botox and Aesthetic Membership Program banks $119 or $149 a month as credit toward treatment, and members take 15% off our regular prices. It does not combine with the new patient offers, which are already discounted. See how the membership works.

Botox Units Reference
This section is background for readers comparing per-unit quotes.
How much is 20, 30, 35 or 50 units of Botox in Scottsdale?
At the $10 to $18 per unit Scottsdale clinics quote, here is what each of those quantities costs. These are Botox units.
- 20 units, $200 to $360. Frown lines alone, or a forehead on a lighter dose.
- 30 units, $300 to $540. Typically frown lines plus a modest forehead treatment.
- 35 units, $350 to $630. A full frown plus forehead result for most women.
- 50 units, $500 to $900. Approaching a full upper face treatment.
Those spreads are wide, and that is the answer rather than a defect in it. Ask what 35 units costs and the honest reply is a $280 range, because the rate varies by clinic and nothing about a unit count fixes it.
The problem with the question
Every figure above assumes you already know your unit count. You do not, and neither does anyone else before your treatment. Muscle strength, anatomy, how much movement you want to keep and how you responded last time all move the number, and they are assessed in the chair, not on the phone. So "how much is 35 units" cannot be answered in a way that tells you what you will pay.
The question that can be answered is what a treatment costs. Frown lines at Avinity are $299. Frown lines and forehead together are $523 for women. A full upper face treatment is $649. Those are prices for a result, whatever dose the result turns out to need.
Unit questions
How many units of Botox do I need for my forehead?
Most women need 10 to 17.5 units of Botox for the forehead, and most men need 15 to 22.5 units. Botox and Xeomin are the two brands with on-label FDA approval for this area; other brands are commonly used off-label at similar strength-adjusted doses. First-time patients usually do best starting near the lower end of the range, since dose can be increased at a follow-up once your injector sees how your muscles respond. Your exact count depends on muscle strength and how much movement you want to soften. At Avinity, forehead lines are a flat $224 for women and $275 for men regardless of where your dose lands in the range. See the typical range for your face in the calculator above. For a full breakdown by brand, first-time dosing, and cost, see our forehead Botox units guide.
How many units of Botox for the "11s" (glabella)?
The glabella (frown lines between the brows) typically takes 20 units of Botox in women and 20 units in men. This is the one area with an FDA-approved dose across all five major brands, though Dysport and Daxxify use their own unit scales.
How many units of Botox for crow's feet?
Crow's feet (lateral canthal lines) typically run 15-24 total units across both sides in women and 20-25 total units in men with Botox, which currently holds the only on-label approval for this area among major brands.
Is onabotulinumtoxinA the same as Botox?
Yes. OnabotulinumtoxinA is the generic name for Botox, so pricing is identical, and a quote for one is a quote for the other. Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau and Daxxify are different products on different unit scales, which is why comparing their per-unit prices against each other, or against the range on this page, is misleading. A Dysport unit is not a Botox unit. The conversion table further down explains how the counts relate.
Botox vs. Dysport: how do the units compare?
Dysport is commonly dosed at roughly 2.5 to 3 times the number of units as Botox for a comparable effect. For example, glabella is typically 20 units of Botox versus 50 units of Dysport. These are commonly used clinical conversions, not an exact exchange rate: units are not interchangeable between products per FDA labeling.
Does more diluted Botox mean weaker Botox?
No. A vial of Botox contains a fixed amount of active toxin. Dilution only changes how much saline is added, which affects how the product spreads, not its strength. So a lower per-unit price at a discount clinic isn’t explained by “weaker” product; it’s usually about what else is being charged for around the injection.
What is the maximum safe amount of Botox?
Published guidance places the maximum cumulative cosmetic dose at around 400 units within a three-month period. Typical cosmetic visits use far less, often 30 to 60 units total across several areas. Your injector tracks your cumulative dosing to keep treatment well within safe limits.
Why the unit count changes by brand
All five brands are FDA-approved botulinum toxin type A and all five work. What matters for this estimate is dosing scale. Dysport uses roughly 2.5 times the unit count of Botox for the same result, and Daxxify about twice. Jeuveau doses 1:1 with Botox, and so does Xeomin everywhere except the forehead, where published dosing is a flat 20 units. That is why the unit estimate moves when you change brands, and why a per-unit rate from one clinic cannot be compared directly against a per-unit rate for a different product.
| Brand | Units vs Botox |
|---|---|
| Botox | baseline |
| Dysport | ~2.5x |
| Xeomin | ~1:1 |
| Jeuveau | 1:1 |
| Daxxify | 2x |
Brand comparisons above reflect commonly used clinical conversions. Units are not interchangeable between products, per FDA labeling. Xeomin is formulated without accessory proteins, which may carry a lower theoretical risk of resistance over time. This has not been shown to be a guaranteed benefit for any individual patient.
Full Botox unit dosing chart, by area and brand
Typical published unit ranges for each treatment area, by sex and by brand.
On-label means the FDA has approved that brand for that specific area, and the dosing comes from the manufacturer's prescribing information. Off-label means the brand is approved and in routine use, but not specifically for that area. Off-label injection is common, established and legal, and most facial neurotoxin treatment falls into it; the ranges shown for those areas come from published clinical practice rather than manufacturer guidance, so they vary more between injectors.
Treat the whole chart as orientation, not as a plan. What your face needs is a judgement your injector makes in the chair, and it matters far more than any published range.
